So my 03 1500 4.7 is loosing oil pressure when it warm and under 1000rpm. We replaced the oil pump and did the timing (took it to a shop for the timing). We also changed out the spark plugs. Now our oil gage is still showing low oil pressure while it’s warm and at an idle. Also just last week when exhilarating from 40 mph to 55 mph it sputters and has lack of power from idle(800rpm) to 60mph. The check engine light is on but the only code that was coming up was CO2 sensor. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Probably a bad oil pressure sending unit, and a failing O2 sensor. If you step harder on the gas, does it run better? (greater than half throttle.)

I believe the sending unit was just replaced too. When stepping on the gas it acts like it’s flooding outOriginally Posted by HeyYou

Need to plug in with a scanner, and see what the PCM thinks is going on.

Think I would have him put a mechanical oil pressure gauge on it as well, just to verify what pressure is doing. Wouldn't be the first time someone has gotten a bad part, right out of the box. Originally Posted by Danielle Drake
