fan not engaging with AC on at idle
Hi forum,
I have a 06 Ram3500 5.9 Cummins automatic. Installed new electric fan clutch. Fan is on a high speed when engine is cold.at idle.AC on. Once engine is at normal temp at idle,( AC on) fan is not speeding up. AC pressure on high side is 450+. If I spray water on the condenser ( condenser is new ) pressure drops to 225-250 quickly. My question is what tell;s the fan to engage when the pressure is this high? Any help will be appreciated.
