Default plugs and wires

on the 2005 ram hemi engines are there 16 wires (one for each plug) or just 8 like a regular 8cyl engine? (dont make any comments about this question being dumb)

No dumb questions...(well, there have been a couple of pretty silly ones but everybody tends to ignore them). Welcome aboard.

Tenntech's right, on one of the plugs on ea cyl, the coil attaches directly to the plug. You just need to unbolt the coil (I don't know if I'd call them small bolts or big screws) and pull straight up on it and pull the rubber boot off the plug. The other plug has a normal wire coming from another coil. The plugs are recessed pretty well down into the head.
