Default abs light

here is what i've done so far this morning i got a freon in a can and hooked it up to the low side or high side which ever side that connector hooks up too, i started the engine turned on ac and looked at gage it showed nothing so i started to put some in till gage read in the green as soon as it did it dropped to o thats when comp quit working. i got a test light and took connection loose and used test light to see if i had any fire to comp nothing so i checked fuses num 23 and 32 both were good so do you think it might be my tipm or something else the comp is only about 2 maybe 3 years old. if i had a meter and tested the wires to see how much volts or ohms to comp what should tester read? thx
