see #7, rubber just doesn't last as it elbows 2 into 1 on top of canister, used zip ties lasted about 6 months even slathered with silicon rtv. When i hooked my smoke pump to it leaks in this area every time right before inspections due https://www.moparpart.com/v-2004-dod...rtrain-control

what year is the vehicle? What codes are setting?
smoke pump; are you referring to the vehicles leak detection pump, a homemade smoke machine or store bought evap leak detection equipment?
if you have a homemade smoke machine; how much pressure does it put out. if to high the system will leak. smoke machines should only generate approx. 6 psi pressure.
