Default Front suspension replacement project

with 195,000 miles on her, I'm replacing the upper and lower control arms, shocks, and sway bar end links and sway bar bushings. it's a 2007 2WD 4.7 SLT and I did my driver side last weekend. Both lower shock bolts broke off in in the A-Arm and then 1 of the A-Arm cam bolts was seized in the bushing so I cut it out with a Diablo carbide tip sawzall blade.

Looking good! I think I would tighten that top shock nut a little further.

I changed my oil once where I left the drain plug out... At least I had left the catch pan in place, else it would not have just been wasting 2 quarts of oil - it'd be the hassle of cleaning up two quarts of oil. Not sure its age, thinking is just how busy life is.

Cutting fronts shocks off is standard practice. You have to use a recip saw like you did because a cutting wheel won't fit.
Greaseable upper ball joints looking good!
