Engine codes
Ok 2003 dodge ram 2500 230927 miles. 5.7 liter. Automatic.
Im a mechanic for the person who owns this vehicle.
He is having the lightning bolt light on the dash issues and he has no throttle control. So i believe its a throttle body replacement.
Its showing 2 codes. P0171 and p0073.
What are they associated with?

The P0171 code will often be thrown if the fuel injection system is not operating properly. Typically the code will be triggered by a lean condition in the engine. The P0073 code is for the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit.

Well I ordered a remanufactured throttle body and I will let you know once I get it installed.

Most of the time lightning bolt is the T/B causing the other issue's. Good call. Let us know if it resolves the problem.
