P0300, p0302, p0304, p0340
Last week I go to start my truck and it wont turn over, I'm like what the heck and hit the key a few times then it pushes and barely cranks, one last go and it fires right up but very badly for a second until I give it throttle and "clear it out" . I took off and dropped my kids off a quarter mile away. When I started it there were no issues but the cel was on with a p300, p302 p304.
All week the truck starts fine, but a few times no crank like the starter is bad. Repeatedly trying to start it like you would a bad starter gets it to go.
It is misfiring too. Only at idle, when it first starts up or until I drive it around the block. Once i drive it, it's fine. I just drove it 600 miles this weekend. It's always P0300 & P0302, sometimes a P0304, and today it had P0340 thrown in. I did head gaskets about 6000 miles ago and it doesnt seem like a head gasket because it runs too good and doesnt always misfire. I was thinking an injector, coil pack, plug, etc but now that the cam sensor code came up I'm wondering if these are cam sensor symptoms with maybe a failing starter thrown in.
I'm getting ready to run diagnostics but my dad is doing a swap on his 09 and using the driveway.
What do you guys think? Straight to a compression test or replace the cam sensor first? Are these cam sensor symptoms?

I pulled out plugs 2 4 6 and plugs are worn, they look like they have been burning hot / lean or something. I pulled #1 plug, it appears the same. Compression on 2 4 6 cylinders is good. Misfire is intermittent, at idle only. Once truck is driven misfire usually goes away.
Cam sensor came today, going to buy new plugs in a little while and put everything in.

Replaced all the plugs and cam sensor a few days ago. The bolt that holds in the cam sensor was missing. Im still having issues though. Now i have a p0155 that just showed up today in addition to all the same codes as before.
I swapped all the coil packs around when i did the plugs and all of them looked like they got hot and the truck is running lean or something.
The truck is still be getting "stuck" on something when i try to start it, something mechanical. I dont know what the issue could be.

Im thinking more along the lines of a bad valve spring, cam issue... something like that. There is some sort of mechanical issue going on that prevents the motor from turning over every once in awhile and none of this happened until the first time i had an issue getting the motor to turn over. The cam sensor i bought is probably defective. I think my old cam sensor was fine but loose from not having the screw so im going to put it back in. Ever since i put in the new cam sensor starting takes longer to start, it doesnt just fire right up.
