Just did a change and I noticed I only drained about 4.5qt from my 07 hemi 1500. I'm a little concerned because I put a full 7 in after I drained it but before I measured what I had drained now I am concerned I may have over filled. I *think* the stick says I am only slightly above safe, but the stick sucks and hard to get an accurate level with especially with new oil that just runs right off it.

How concerned should I be?

 

Did you change the filter as well? Some oil always stays in the motor......
