I was just wondering if anyone knew of any brand's of pushbar's / brush guards that actually HELPED protect your vehicle, instead of just being for looks. Thanks

 

The only way that would happen is if you got a solid steel bumper that weights a ton. You know, the ones with the integral hook ups for a winch and what not and that are diamond plated steel.

All of the other ones including the popular brush/grill guards fold up like a taco in front end collisions and cause more damage than good, especially at low speeds when they bend back and get the hood and both front fenders.
