im experiencing the same parasitic draw from fuse 51 as you mentioned in the thread. Would you happen to remember what wire was broken from the fuse box that you found?

I never really figured out what the cause of the draw was it sort of just went away after I added a jumper wire to restore my radio and interior lights and I'm not sure they're related at all. I ran a wire and fuse directly from the positive battery and spliced it into #16 wire off the obd2 port and added another ground from cab to battery. I'm not sure exactly what one did the trick but it worked and I've since sold the truck.

Hello, i know this is an old thread but has anyone solved this? fuse 51 is pulling 1 amp. Goes away if I disconnect the center plug of the cluster (C3 I believe). I took apart the fuse block to see what pins/wire colors were live. It appears to be the gray/red wire leading up to C3. I have pulled apart the driver door harness and chased the intire loom for a short to gnd since I'm getting Chassis Code 68 - driver's door lock.....
Also, (i'm not an electician....) I have 12 volts from the neg post to the vehicle ground point? I believe that hints at a short to ground? I have the manual but I can't find the entire ciruit diagram to chase it? Is there a way to bypass the whole loom and wire direct to C3 power?
Any help super appreciated, i've been chasing this for weeks.

Hey dude I'm pretty sure I just seen this on a FB group and mentioned to you how to check for draw after the load in a circuit. Seriously watch how to do this on YouTube I'll try and post a link. This particular truck had a bad wiring harness between the battery and cab the one that runs along behind the battery so it won't relate to you. If you're positive it's not a bad cluster check draw down the line.

Someone else mentioned it could be the glove box light. No problem just trying to help keep us updated if you find it
