Default NP246 pump rub problems

It seems that there is a lot of info about the gm np246 having leaks caused by the transfer case pump rubbing holes in the rear housing. there is almost nothing about the Dodge np246. There is a reinforced rear housing available from several suppliers. A couple of them say this housing works with the NP246D, but there are a lot of them that say it may not.
Has anyone done this repair on the Dodge NP246D?

It seems that almost nobody in the Dodge world has heard of this. The TC suppliers all say that the np246d case does have the problem, but while there are a ton of youtube videos showing causes and repair of the gm np246- there are none dealing with the 246D. The rear housing appears to be the same on both, Go look at some of the youtube pump rub videos and you might start to worry about it as I am. If there is a structural difference in the Dodge NP cases, I can't find any info on it.
