02 Dodge 1500 4.7 tps sensor and misfire
Just bought a 02 ram 1500 with the 4.7. I’ve owned it 4 days and the tps keeps going out and would shut off and not start for hours or until I replaced the tps (previous owner told me he had this problem 4 times in the last year) I’ve had it happen 6 times in the last 4 days. The last time I changed it I made it about 1000 feet and it shut off and started back firing out of the exhaust and intake while cranking. I pushed it off the road and let it sit over night. Next morning jumped in and turned the key and it fired right up but had a miss. I got it back to my house and it had a crank sensor code so I replaced the crank sensor and camshaft sensor. Now it stays running but still has the miss. I replaced all 8 plugs still has the miss. Pulled the coils one at a time all have good spark. Did a compression test today and 5 out of 8 cylinders have 150lbs and the other have 125-130lbs and they all hold steady on the gauge. I bought a reman computer and had it programmed to my vin thinking it had to do with the tps but the tps code keeps popping up then it’ll go out. Also getting a p0300 code for multiple miss fires. Anyone have any ideas what’s going on with this truck.
