2002 dodge ram 1500 p0443
Hello im new to this forums i just bought a 2002 dodge ram 1500 quadcab 2wd with a hemi swapped,But i cant get to pass smog due to p0443 code.
You can clear it and it will come on soon as the truck is started, i took it to a repair shop and they couldn't figure it out.
Checked the purge valve connector with a voltage meter its only getting roughly 3v
What do you think can be causing this issue?

2002 would have been setup for the older magnum series. Hemi is a different setup, if they didn't swap over everything specific to the hemi - that is likely your problem. If they did swap everything over, the shop should have done a smoke test on the evap system and figured out the issue. If its the second case and they didn't smoke it, try a different shop that will apply the right diagnosis methodology.

The previous owners swapped the engine so not 100% sure what was done to it, all i know is it had the 4.7 before they swapped a hemi.
What would be need for the evap system. I dont think it vacuum leak for the simple reason if you reset the codes it comes back on immediately.
The current codes are p0443 p0581 p0593

Yeah this one doesn't have the wire to throttle body, it goes under the battery to a box. I replaced the purge valve to rule that out, didnt fix it tho. Also will be smoking testing it tomorrow but i highly doubt its a vacuum leak.
Asides for those issues the truck runs good breaks rear tire loose with no problem.
Horn doesn't work as well looks as if they tried replacing the clock spring since there's one in the glove box
