Default Marvel Mystery Oil?

Anyone have any experience with Marvel Mystery Oil. I heard if you use it in the gas tank it gets rid of the "Hemi Tick".
Has anyone tried it or had any experience with it?

I doubt it will rid the Hemi's of their dreaded ticking. Pouring in the gas tank will simply lubricate and clean along it's path and clean up the injectors as well as the combustion chamber. The Hemi tick is within the valve's. Gasoline doesn't touch that part of the engine. Maybe pouring the snake oil in with the oil may help? But certainly will do nothing for it in the fuel.
I use Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner. Great stuff and stabilizes as well.

MMO works better in the oil to clean up the insides. As for a fuel cleaner, it's similar to Seafoam in the tank.

Great stuff, been around for years. My great grandpapy told me moses brought it down off the mountain, stuck in his back pocket! Does a lot of positive things for engines. Hell we even use it for getting water out of the engines in our four wheelers when we swamp 'em. to prevent hydrolock.
But I can't see it really doing much for stopping the Hemi tick...

If you use it in the oil, maybe. Definitely not in the fuel. I had a car that had a light tick to it...my mechanic added a 1/2 qt of tranny fluid while the engine was running. In less than 30 secs, the tick was gone. At his recommendation, I substituted tranny fluid for one qt of oil in my oil changes, and it never came back. At around 80K I changed the valve cover gasket, and the inside of that motor was clean. No sludge or carbon buildup.

Little engine knock a good race gas will always get it to go away just long enough for you to sell it.

MMO is great stuff. i usually throw a little in on every other oil change to clean stuff up in there. i cant wait to do cams so i can see how clean the internals look.

Cam(s) as in plural, you got a 4.7 Nick, I always thought you had a Hemi?

What are you going with?
It's my next mod, was all set, then the folks got sick, but I hope to be back on target with it by late spring or early summer.

yeah i have the 4.7 i got more of a challenge ahead of me. i wanted to just go with a H/O cam but ive been thinking of a more aggressive cam. i want more low end tq gains than top end hp thats my dilemma. not something im doing soon. i am going to be a part of the 4.56 club first ... i want to do all bolt ons before i start doing internals. i need more power out of her till ic an lift and do 35s. what cams were you going with 206,212x?
