Buy the HEMI with the 6 speed then you will have no problems. I may have a biased opinion because I have a 05 quadcab 3/4 ton with the 6 speed. It has been problem free and a blast to drive......all this coming from a former chevy owner!!!!

I have an 04 Ram 1500 Quad cab 4x4 with the Hemi, I love this truck and I have not had the stalling problem and she was been perfect. The only thing I have had to claim under warranty was the weatherstrips. There is a new revised version out.

I have an '04 Hemi 4x4. Absolutely no problems, in fact, had not even heard about it?
Been very pleased w/ the hemi. It likes gas but you know that goni' to a hemi.
Mine has 9,000 miles of almost constant towing (horse and car trailers), never missed a beat.

I have a 03 qc 4x2 Lar. with 23500mi and it has stalled maybe 7 times since I've had it all of which I was going from D to R. I had the PCM and Tranny flashed and that seemed to help. I still love my truck and when it comes down to when I really need it the most, it has NEVER FAILED me.

31000 on the 04 QC AWD and no problems other than pinion seal on rear end and hose clamp on power steering. My truck was built on Monday or Friday because the door hinges were welded on just a little crooked and the door is tough to close. If they adjust the door it leaks air and asthetically looks bad.
