Angry My 4x4 is stuck in 4 wheel drive low

Can anyone tell me how to get my 2008 Dodge 1500 Laramie 4x4 truck out of 4 wheel drive low. I tried to drive it for a short distance and then put it in reverse and backed up for about 400 feet. I have moved the selector to 4 wheel low and then to 4 wheel H and finally to 2H but no change either way. I had to put it in 4L due to my back yard has a steep slope and it was wet when I was getting it to the drive way out of the yard. Any suggestions will be appreciated. The dash light indicated it is in 4Low.

I hate the electric selectors. I prefer the old manual levers. My Cadillac Escalade has the same thing. I read the owners manual after I got stuck in 4low and it said with the engine running, put the transmission in neutral and wait 30 seconds. Push the 2wd selector button and wait for the light to come on for 2wd." See if you have an owners manual.

Trans must be in neutral before attempting to switch out of 4 low.
