Default 2005 ram 1500 4.7 p0340

Truck will start sometimes and won’t start others. Replaced cam and crank sensors. Replaced battery and spark plugs. I’ve replace the cam sensor 3 times already and have checked the wiring it seems fine I got voltage. I’m super lost and can’t figure this out. I’ve read other forums and still no help. I tried replace the pcm as well.

That p0430 is related to catalytic converters I believe , perhaps its getting clogged up,,I would research some more on that code ,,might be wiring to 02 sensor , usually bank 2,,but the engine not starting might be clogged cat,,but maybe someone else will chime in with more advice

One possibility is its in the timing chain, something could be worn throwing off how the sensor is reading it

I don’t think so I had the chain and tensioner done 2 years ago about 5000 miles.

You may be right but that's about the only other thing other than bad wiring to the plug on cam sensor , even 2 years nothing is a guarantee
