Default 05 cummins 2500 No 4wd

I have a 05 2500 that isn't going into 4wd. Transfer case shift lever feels fine, 4wd light comes on like it should, but am not getting any power to front wheels. Went under truck to look for an issue and found a hose coming from front differential with a hole worn in it and disconnected. I'm not sure where the hose is supposed to go and if that is the problem.

I thought dodge did away with the central axle disconnect on the third gens??? Can you post a pic of the hose?

The hose is probably the vent hose for the differential. There is no CAD on an 05, if the transfer case is shifting and the 4x4 light comes on and your not getting power to the front then something inside the transfer case is bad. Check the linkage and nut on the shift ear and try 4 low just to make sure.
