Here is a link that has stainless steel resonators, you just splice them in anywhere, before or after the muffler.
They come in 2 inch, 2.5 inch and 3 inch diameter sizes.

Shouldn't have opened my mouth about the Marauder engine, I thought my buddy told it was the same but whatever. I talked to Aero today and they recommended before muffler to deaden the drone. My dealer wants to try some things out (sound dampeners/weights) to make me happy I guess. Don't have much confidence though. May be stuck with this system (parts dept won't return it) and as much as it pisses me off that I'd have to spend even more money (as if $600 wasn't enough already) to have the Aero resonator installed by a muffler shop, I guess that's what I'll have to do.

can anyone here tell me why SOME dealers have the mopar/borla exhausts and others do not? i'm in st louis and i have called 2 so far without any luck. if you go to the borla website, an exhaust is between 600-800 bucks. i will spend that IF i have to. [sm=feedback.gif]

I had the same problem with the Flowmaster 50 Series Delta. It was in my truck for only 2 days before it drove me crazy. I went back and had them swap the Flowmaster for the Magnaflow and what a difference. The truck sounds awesome outside and virtually no drone or interior resonance. I am super happy I made the switch.

Edelbrock has a new muffler design that is worth a look:

the chamber marked '2' is called a Helmholz Resonator and is there to reduce drone.

Me, personally I prefer the RV style DynoMax stainless steel UltraFlo that is 36 inches long and 6 inches in diameter as the primary muffler and an exhaust tip made from a 16 inch long ss UltraFlo as the exhaust tip. The UltraFlo mufflers have no more backpressure than the same length of exhaust pipe and are available in various sizes in both ss and aluminized steel for those on a budget.
