Default 4x4 isn’t working
When I first bought my 2006 Ram 1500 the private party told me I needed to program the computer for the 4x4 but since this is my first 4x4 I am not sure what that means

Electronic shift transfer case? What happens when you push the button?

Yeah it’s an electric transfer case. And nothing happens their are no lights on the dash that come on and I don’t hear it engage

Check fuses first. I would expect the lights should "test" when you first turn the ignition on. Does that happen?

I went I put the ignition the 4x4 lights don’t light up on my dash and I have checked my fuses and they look fine
