Need help finding location of horn relay 2004
we looked on the cover for the fuse box, but for some reason the horn relay isn’t listed on it. Google isn’t helping in our search. We were having horn issues and the horn wouldn’t stay off without disconnecting the horn. The batteries are dead and they shouldn’t be so going to try to replace the relay
my diagram shows the relay is in the tipm (if you can't find it...its possibly part of the printed circuit board)
from the relay the control side runs to the front control module (also in the tipm) to the cluster thru the clockspring to the horn switch in the steering wheel. if any part of the control wire or switch is shorted to ground...the relay will close and sound the horn.

2004, they call it the IPM.... later they added the "T" (as in totally). there are pdf copies of the service manuals available online, you should download it.
Here is part of the Horn section, I attached the rest of the two pages as a pdf.
DESCRIPTION
The dual-note horn system features dual electromagnetic
horn units. The horn system includes the
following major components:
² Horn - The two horns are located on the left
side of the engine compartment below the Integrated
Power Module (IPM).
² Horn Switch - The horn switch is molded into
the driver airbag trim cover.
OPERATION
The horn system operates on battery current
received through a fuse in the Integrated Power
Module (IPM). The horn system circuit is designed so
that the system will remain operational, regardless
of the ignition switch position.
DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - HORN SYSTEM
The most reliable, efficient, and accurate
means to diagnose the horn system requires the
use of a DRBIIIt scan tool and the proper Diagnostic
Procedures manual.
Refer to the appropriate wiring information.
In most cases, any problem involving continually
sounding horns can be quickly alleviated by removing
the horn fuse from the Integrated Power Module
(IPM).
