Default On/off switch underneath the steering wheel

So I've got an on/off switch that is underneath my steering wheel on my 2007 dodge 1500. I have no clue what it would/could be. I've tried turning it on and off but nothing happens. Any ideas as to what It could be?

Switch is in the center of the photo

Yeah. Unfortunately you have the truck with you. All we can do is guess. As stated, it's not factory.

As stated, check for wires connected to it. If wires are there, follow them to see where they go.

My guess would be it was for a light bar or something on that order.

I was also going to guess it was for some type of accessory, whether it be light related or something else.

I have the same little switch mine was not plugged in but there are wires there that goes to it and I wasn't sure what it was so I taped them off so they do short anything out. Did you ever figure out what it went to

If that switch has a light on it, it could be for the driving lights. Factory kit I installed for driving lights has a similar switch. I installed mine in the dash.
