Default Fuse Box and Fog lights

Hi, I am looking to hook up the factory fog lights on my 07 dodge Ram 1500. I have the holes in the bumper and the wiring running behind it. the trouble I am having, I think is in the fuse box. I have a repair manual with the electrical diagrams. In the diagram, it looks like there needs to be a fuse in the 41 position of the fuse box. I am not a electrician by any means, but if I look down into the fuse box in the 41 position, (there is no fuse in the 41 position). There dose not seen to be any connection point(s) for the fuse to connect to, (like it was empty). I pulled the fuse next to the 41 position and in that spot there was fuse connectors. How can I fix this?

Thanks for any help,

Scott

Not too sure about your fuse issue but I do know you will need to have the computer programmed to enable fog lights if you wish to use the factory switch and wiring

Easiest way is to just tie the wiring into the the low beams so when you hit high beams they still shut off. This avoids any programming and such

Which is fine for your truck, however doing that with a CAN bus vehicle is just inviting disaster.

If everything is hooked up correctly and you have the correct light switch, then all you need is for them to be enabled in the body computer. Anyone with a StarScan or AlfaOBD can do it. It can even be set up so that they stay on with your high beams. You really don't wanna muck about with your wiring in a CAN bus vehicle; you could end up chasing an electrical nightmare. These vehicles are extremely sensitive to voltage variations.

I have an 05 ram 1500, 3.7,auto trans.
I need to wire after market Fog Lights. The lights with brackets mount perfectly.
The problem is the wiring harness that came with them is too short, it has inline fuse and (5 pin relay) which I do not want to use the 5th pin.
Does anyone have a straight forward wiring diagram as I'm 71 and this would help.

Just ignore the 5th pin, center 87A.
