I am currently researching what is the latest year Hemi I can upgrade my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4
I currently have a stock 4.7 in it with 280,000 the motor is knocking. So I want an upgrade to a 5.7 and modify it with a supped up cam, bigger air intake bore. Along with a programmer.
What all will I need?
I appreciate all suggestions.

It would most likely be cheaper to find a running Hemi truck....

the conversion between the two is more than just swap the engine. With cam, programmer, etc, you’re already up to $1000+
