Trans temp?
I have an 04 hemi quad cab short box.
So my Transmission temperature light keeps coming on normally within the first 15minutes of driving or in 5 min after say I shut it off to run into a gas station and run back out n start it. I pull over, turn the truck off, turn it back on, instant drive and start going and it comes on for half a second and goes out not to be seen again until one of the previous situations occur. Not sure what it would be and am nearing my breaking point of putting money into it. And for this problem I dont want to just do part by part till I've rebuilt the damn thing. Any ideas? TIA

Do the third gen trucks have the check valve in the trans cooler lines? If so, remove it.
Aside from that, I would be tempted to put a temp gauge on it, (with its own sensor) and see what temp trans fluid actually is. Might just be a bad sensor.
