Anyone else have problems with their Hemi Rams and their purge/evap codes? Just had the HVDL pump replaced on my 03 Hemi QC. This truck had 46K miles on it and its been in the shop 3 times in the past 8 months for the same code...p0441.

Anyone have any good news for me!!!

 

I have an 03 and haven't had that problem. I have had p0442 code before though. Seems like they don't know what they are doing.

 

Everytime I work on a newer car that has an evap code its been mostly a rubber evap hose thats cracked, usually at an elbow. I havnt been under my truck yet but most of the problems were at the evap canister near the gas tank, not sure where its located on our truck but theres got to be evap lines under there.

 

I agree. I had the same problems at about 65K. They replaced a cracked hose and the fuel cap. Also they mention something about "bad fuel" could also throw that evap code??

 

Yeah...My check engine light keeps coming on because of that too.
