2005 dodge ram dies after disconnecting the booster pack
Hi
I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi
It died at some point in the last 2 weeks while I was away for work and now when I put the key in the ignition there is no power to anything.
When I put the booster pack on it took a second and started up.
figured I left the lights on and it died
As soon as I disconnected the booster it died immediately.
If any one has any ideas as to what it is it would be greatly appreciated

same thing happened to me, when the battery is really discharged it won't keep the truck running for some reason. you need to get it charged and then it should work fine if it isn't just plain dead now.
You could try reconditioning if the battery isnt too far gone. I am currently using a CTEK on my truck to recondition my battery. At one point, it either went dead or went very low on charge enough to cause the positive post to build up powder acid and it is only 2 years old battery.
I'm going to see of the battery from my second gen will turn it over to rule it out as the battery or not
