Hi has anyone changed the rear seal themselves on the 4.7. Can anyone provide a step by step for this. I’m thinking I will have to drop the trans? Can anyone shed some light on this Thanks

 

Not sure if this is a 4.7L... I didn't watch the whole thing and he never mentioned it at the beginning.


Dodge Dakota 4.7L RMS replacement.

 

I’m looking for a person on this forum who has done the rear main seal replacement to their Dodge Ram 4.7 specifically. I seen these videos and they do provide good information, but I have found nothing, no video or write up for the Dodge Ram 4.7 specifically

 

Going to be the same thing as the Dak. Just more room to work.

 

After doing some research, this video was done on a Hemi (5.7L).
