Unhappy Issues with starting

Looking for some help with an 2003 Dodge 2500. When I turn key forward I get 1 click and nothing. I can see the fan underneath hood turn some. The gear position indicator has halo around all gears. When I leave key in position and change gears, I can hear it changing but nothing changes on gear indicator. Also when key is in off position the door chime does not sound and accessories does not work. Chime will work if I push key in and hold it in and accessories will work when I turn key back and hold pressure on it.Is this all one issue or they separate? I changed out ignition switch as it had a couple prongs with black on them. Can't find any bad fuses or bad wiring. Starter tested good. Thinking issue could be range sensor or the input/output sensor. Appreciate any help I can get as I need vehicle for work.

After changing the ignition switch, is it still doing the same thing?

That might take some time as it looks to be on the inside. I believe the transmission I have is the 545 RFE. Would not be too bad if I had a lift to put truck on but working off the ground makes it a little harder. Found somebody who said they could hook up a coder and see if I have any codes showing. Hopefully that will show something. Will update after trying code machine.

Still waiting for guy to come by with code reader. Tried starting again and noticed my anti-theft light does not flash at all when trying to start. Now the parking brake light is flashing.

Did not get any codes to show up. Took battery terminals off and touched them together for about a minute. Reconnected cables and truck started up. The accessory position and door chime does not work if I leave keys in and open door, but at least its running
