Looking for some help connecting a back up camera on a new din radio system I just installed..I ran all the wires but I'm seeming to have trouble finding the correct color for my parking brake wire and also my reverse lights wire ..this is outta my knowledge wheel house ..has anyone else Installed one on a 2004 ..kinda out of ideas and looking for help please and thank you

 

Marshall, here's a video I made when I installed my reverse camera. at 1:15 is where I show what color my reverse light wire was (purple wire w/black stripe on it)


I have a 2003 Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab RWD

if your using a crimp connector, make sure its actually contacting the wire, even if you crimp it down it may still not have enough contact depending on the size crimp your using, I noticed that when installing mine. Hope this helps
