Default Long travel high articulation CV axles

Has anyone tried the suretrac/tracmotive CV axles part number (CH-8119ET) for 1500 4x4s from rock auto yet? I personally had bad luck with tracmotive parts but these might be promising for lifted and leveled trucks.

For a little over 100 bucks???? That seems REALLY cheap for high articulation axles.......... normally those fellers are close to four digits......

I see reviews on them from a few years back, that a fair few folks have premature failures.... (less than 2000 miles....) bear in mind, these reviews are from around 2019, or earlier, and most complaints were that the ball cage on the inner joint failed, resulting in the joint blowing itself into a few million pieces........ Reading the specs on the axles today though, they have apparently started using better steel for the ball cages, so, maybe this is less of an issue now? They have been making axles for UTV's since around 2006, and are still in business.... So, given the price, they might be worth a shot, just to see how they hold up. I think around here, even the stock replacement axles cost more than what they are asking......

I'm curious to see what everyone else is using I'm not scared to spend the big bucks on something that's not going to explode and take out my left foot through the fire wall. Do you remember brand names or websites I can look into?

Ya they are cheap considering these same axle are triple the price at my local speed shop and crackauto has been impressive lately for pricing but they definitely bend a guy over the sink to not only **** you for shipping they definitely drown you after to haha

Where did you find the reviews I'd like to read through them for these CV axles before I run out and rob the liquor store to pay for them 😂

Just did a google search for reviews on trakmotive axles. Kinda gotta dig to find useful information though. Amazon seems to have a few, along with a few other 'big name' sellers.

Did the same for 'high articulation axles', and found some interesting results. Even NAPA sells their own version..... for under 90 bucks..... (american) Holy smokes, that's CHEAP. Of course, RCVaxles sells theirs for around 2 grand.
