Help! Timing chain

Default Help! Timing chain

My timing broke on my 5.7 hemi I replaced timing and put it back in time when I went to restart it the truck blew the valve cover gasket out from under the valve cover on passenger side, and blew the oil fill cap off the motor what did I miss, what did I do wrong?
It it is an 06 Dodge ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi VIN code of 2 I had to replace the timing because it broke the tensioner

Start to finish, what led you to this (the why) and the steps you did? Because that has all the indications of severe mistiming or jumped timing. Would also help to know what you have (besides a 5.7, which encompasses many years, variations and vehicles).

I updated the info sorry about that but it is an '06 Dodge ram 1500 four-wheel drive with the 5.7 hemi VIN code of two

How did you align the timing marks on the chain and gears ?

Crank shaft gear mark at 6 with the key way at 2
cam shaft at 12 with the two discolored marks an the single mark on chain at the 6 mark

The hemi is an interference engine. It's .possible some valves were bent when the timing chain broke and the engine went out of time.
