Have your local dealer run your VIN to get the correct one.

You should be able to take your truck to the dealer, they plug in their tools, and can flash it to whatever software revision is required.

I took it to dealership with the pcm from parts store they couldnt even flash my vin on it. I can buy one from dealership for 1300 plus cost of having it towed there around 400 and they told me they couldnt garentee that the one they ordered would be the right one

Someone doesn't have a clue. (at the dealership) Part number on the PCM is what is important, the programming is all flashable. They need the whole truck, with PCM installed to do it though. Your truck should run fine if the programming is even close.... (correct motor/trans combo) just SRS and ABS won't be happy. If the truck won't start with the new PCM, then the PCM has a problem.
