Default Need help 07 ram 5.7

I need some advice as to what may be wrong with my truck, I drove 2 1/2 hours everything seemed fine, morning after around 4:30am I get in turn it on everything still seems fine, I turn on the headlights and ac, about 30 seconds pass and the truck just stalls. I turn the key completely off, turn it over once again turns on, lasts maybe 10 seconds before stalling again. And ever since then I haven’t been able to turn it over whatsoever. In the beginning I would turn the key and it would click, I tried jump starting it because that’s what it seemed at the time and nothing. I figured I’d replace the battery since it seemed to have lost charge so quickly after being jumped. After battery replacement it started doing a whining noise, instead of a clicking noise. I isolated the noise and it seemed to have been coming from the starter, it whines and throws smoke, replaced the starter however it still does the same thing. Engine does not crank at all, all you can hear is the whining noise from the starter any advice on where to continue searching would be greatly appreciated

Check all your connections, from the battery, down to the starter. Also check and see what voltage you are getting on the solenoid wire when you turn the key to start. Needs to be at least nine volts, else the solenoid won't kick out far enough.....
