Default 05 5.7 Ticking Noise

I have a 2005 1500 5.7 that is making a ticking noise that I am trying to figure out what it might be. Usually cant hear it when cold start, it follows the RPM, sounds like its coming from passenger side and it completely stops if I kick it into neutral. Hoping its not lifters or internal engine related since it goes away when in neutral? I have read up on all the possible things that the infamous "tick" could be but have not found one that mentioned it stops when not in gear.

Less load on the engine, so, less fuel injected, so, less noise. I would look for exhaust leaks.
