ABS/traction control problem
Hi,
I have an issue with my 2008 dodge 1500. It has the 5.7 hemi (if that matters)
Right now the dash lights that are on are the ESP/BAS, the ABS light, and the traction control light(car with two burnout lines behind) Code I have right now coming up is C1032, but I have had U1418 as well. I changed the right rear wheel speed sensor and it didn't fix it.
When they are on I obviously have no ABS but brakes still work and I have no traction control. When they would go out though, my traction control light would flash as if the tires were spinning and sometimes you would feel it trying to engage on the dry highway. Now it has gotten to the point now that they stay on all the time. When I reset the codes with my scanner so no lights are on, as soon as I touch the gas pedal to acceralate even just a little bit the traction control is coming on to try to stop the tires from spinning even though they aren't.
I have had it at a mechanic and he tested the wires and wheel sensors and said they are fine. He was leaning toward the ABS control module, told me to take it to a dealer. My local dodge dealer doesn't have the best reputation, I would like your guys opinion on this first. Sort of searched through the older threads but didn't find anything that matched my story.

I would be interested in knowing more. I am having the same issue. I just purchased my 2G Durango from a private party and it started happening. I have read somewhere that it may also be a clock spring gone bad. I am not sure. I am planning on taking in to have it looked at.
