Default 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 v6 3.7 water pump problem

I replaced my water pump on my 2002 Dodge ram 3.7 L engine I’m putting the new water pump back I encountered a problem one of the bolts are not screwing in the straight and is attempting to cross tread I’m thinking about buying a tap and die kit but I don’t know what size threading to get for this bolt

any suggestions

Did you get them all started before tightening any of them down?

I hand tightened all of them and the last one won’t go in straight it turns twice and starts pulling right and I don’t want to cross thread the bolt I tried every single bolt and they all do the same thing

You take the original bolt with you to a hardware store, such as Ace and find a die that the bolt will screw into. That's how you match it up. Some of the older guys working there can tell you the size by just looking at the bolt.
