Rear leaf springs second opinion and advice with a link.
Ram, 5.7, 1500, 4x4, SLT, quadcab, shortbed, 89100k miles.
Hey yall i neexd too replace rear leaf springs.
i found these guys whom build springs to oe replacement
Sizes. So my truck comes equipped with a 4 leaf factory set .
These are a 5 leaf OE Option That im interested in.
That are a direct fitment to my truck. I have bilstien shocks. Fron and rear.4600s . For stock ride height. I dont plan on lifting, leveling, or alteringRide height at all.Any advice out there ? Would these be a good way too go ?
these springs are an upgrade from 1700lbs. Capacity to 2200lbs.
Extra hauling weight. Next question with the 5 leaf and the bilstiebilstienRideability and comfort ? Im also going too do a front suspension 12 pieceKit just basics with serviceable greese fittings and such. What yall think ?
let me know if the link is incorrect ill try to fix it.

OE is a 3/1 leaf, the HD is a 4/1 leaf. I'm running the heavy duty on mine and I love them.
Disclaimer: Nothing you add to the truck will ever increase it's payload or towing capacity, never exceed the factory tow and payload specifications for your vehicle.
That being said, with my 4/1 leafs I have minimal sag when I drop 1100 lbs on the hitch, and none when I put on the weight distribution hitch. Ride quality loaded is very smooth.
Unloaded you can expect a harsher ride, but if you use the truck for truck stuff and you're taking it right up to the specification limits, those springs will make your life AT those limits more comfortable.
