Default LED lights (HyperFlash)

I screwed around for most my day today trying to get LED lights to work on my rear lights and could not get them to work. I had some load resistors and tried what I thought was the ground and signal wires, but could never get them to work. The rears are just the 1 plug with the 5 wires. Is it possible to get them to work on these or do a full LED setup need to be purchased from like American Trucks or something? Any feedback would be appreciated.

It's possible to get them working with resistors, but it's not the best way to do it.

I felt like I was seeing this. I am probably going to look at finding some LED lights as a whole.
