Dodge Ram 1500 Creaking and Sometimes Grinding - help please
a week ago the truck back wheel on the drivers side got stuck in mud (not even a lot it was a grassy yard area). When I drove started grinding and sounded like dragging for a couple miles like a rock was stuck in the wheel. Nothings handing from the vehicle I looked underneath and I also tried moving the dust shield but I didnt find any rocks. cant take the wheel off at the moment though.
Anyway It stopped so I thought it fell out if it was rock.it was fine for a bit but today the same area started making loud noise again and now everytime I go over bumps or sometimes when I turn (sharper turns wider turns only sometimes makes a noise) the back area of the truck will creak loudly (not really a squeak it sounds like its creaking more) and sometimes grind. Pot holes make the area really loud. Its quiet for the most part on straight road but again sometimes I'll randomly hear grinding.
Any ideas on what could be going on? I cant take it to a shop until next week and not sure if its something I should drive in the meantime. Its a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi.

First things that come to mind are wheel hub bearings, or loose lug nuts. That is if you are sure no foreign object is stuck in there somewhere.
Can you jack up the back wheel and check for play, noise when turning, and lug nut tightness? If you have anti-spin rear you will need to get both wheels off of the ground to turn the wheel by hand.
Check diff fluid level(s) also.
Grinding noise is not something you should be driving with.
