Driver Door Unlock Short Circuit
I checked but couldn't find another thread that gave any good advice on this issue, mods please remove if this has already been discussed before.
I've got a parasitic drain on the battery in my 02 Ram and I'm trying to narrow down what it could be. I checked my C-codes and, apart from some open circuits, the only thing that should be draining power is my driver door unlock output; it's saying it's shorted to ground or voltage.
Anybody else dealt with this issue already?
I'm thinking it's going to be a loose connection in the door panel or a bad wiring harness running through the door into the cab. Any advice appreciated.
Additional information, the list of C-codes I got was:
23 Headlamp switch input circuit open.
64 Driver door lock switch input circuit open.
68 Driver door unlock output circuit shorted to ground or voltage.
