Truck won’t go past 3k rpm

I recently bought a 2003 1500 with a 4.7 and it doesn’t rev past 3k at all no matter what I’m doing. It’s not a park or neutral limiter, the cel is on and the codes it has is p0700,p0720,p0420,p0440

It's in limp mode most likely due to the CEL codes. Fix the known problems. Didn't you test drive it before you bought it?

the 700 and 720 codes are often due to a faulty differential speed sensor. There are videos for checking, cleaning, or replacing the sensor. I rec you replace the sensor then reset all codes.
