i dont know i got a auto so i alwayz used first. the truck does have a lot more pick up and better mpg.

where you the one that had vibration problems? Also, how does it perform at high speeds. Did you notice higher than normal rpms for a 4.10? Like at 70mph, what were reading in the tach?

the rpms jumped about 300 on all speeds yet my mpg and preformance went up to much for me to notice or care. the reason i put mine is cuz of dodges peice of **** rear ends. mine blow out with 41,000 miles on it. i dont rememeber what it says at about 70 but i know at 75 im turning about 2500 and i have a 2002 so i have the .71 gear in the trans instead of the .67 like the 03 and ups have. if it was a 03 my rpms at 75 would be about 2300 or less

 

Do you think maybe pulling the 24's with the old gear killed it? Too much stress? I dont know. But that is good news about the 4.10s. Thanks.

 

na wheels wasnt on it was in the end of feb with snow and stuff around but oh well. trucks drivable now and gets a litlle better mpg still sucks but hey its a truck
