AC and Heated Mirror Lights Blinking Fix
Have the dreaded Hvac AC and Heated mirrors lights constantly blinking since I got the Ram - AC never worked for me but heated mirros do work fine even with the blinking light. Is there a fix for this? With so many having had this issue its surprising there's no clear fix.
Have seen other threads but no common fix. My AC compressor is not turning on and I can't really tell if the ac turns on as the buttons light just blinks. Have heard it may be out of the ac refridgerant but I need the compressor turning to refill.
Can I jump the compressor relay terminal with a wire to manually force the compressor on so I can refill?
Are there capacitors or components on the Hvac panel that fail? Was going to pull the panel and reflow the solder joints/clean the connections.

Check the low side pressure before jumpering anything. If the system is empty, there is quite likely a reason that it is empty, and whatever refrigerant you put in, will likely be vented to atmosphere in fairly short order.....
Pulled the HVAC panel and it looked good except the 3 bulbs are not in place as previous owner has pulled them and not replaced. Cleaned connectors and put dilectric grease on pins, no change, ac and heated mirrors still flash on and off forever. Also cleaned the ac and heated mirror button pads on the pcb where the button contacts to activate.
Pulled the clutch ac compressor relay (#63) and at the tipm pins it had 13.7v on two of the pins, pulled the other larger ac condensor fan relay (#71) and no voltage on any pins.
Tried to disconnect two wire connector on top of compressor to check for 12v but won't release.
AC clutch is not stuck and I can turn by hand.
Can I jump the low pressure switch to check if compressor turns on and if so where is it located on the 4.7 02 Ram?
I've seen a video of someone doing it on a Civic with a jumper wire but not sure on the Ram.
