Hello everyone hope you're all doing well. So I was looking at my overhead console and i noticed an indentation for the sunroof switch. What I wanna know is that is there enough room in there to where one can add an aftermarket switch if they carefully (and inevitably never get it perfect) cut it out and rig it up. I was thinking of adding either a lightbar switch there (I keep kneeing the one on lower panel) or when i get my red light permit wire up the lights there so i dont have to use the 12v socket (or i could wire up a seperate 12v socket it switches so i can keep the lights mobile). But you all get the point. I cant find anything of someone doing this before but might as well ask.

 

Got pics? Mine is an ST model and I don't think I have the console your are speaking of. I recently removed my cigar lighter and installed a mirror controller in it's place because I couldn't find a better place for it.
