Picked up a 05 1500 5.7.
it came with one key and no fobs. I have three new fobs and two more keys but have yet to code and cut them. Truck started and ran fine a few days and died with fuel starved symptoms. Did my research, tried all the common and normal items, crank and cam sensor, TIPM, front control module, jumped fuel pump relay. Confirmed fuel pressure at rail, no pop with ether so no spark. Not skilled enough to check voltages at all the pinouts or ASD relay. Anyone know if getting key fobs coded might affect the start cycle and give the handshake required for start ? Like I said, ran without for a few days. Hoping a Dodge dealer visit is not in my future !
