No bus
Well here I am again. I just took a 1500 mile road trip in my 2002 ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 sport, and it didn't end well. I'm not entirely sure but I thing my new amp or stereo is to blame. I was driving through nabraska and all was well other then no AC but I didn't have that to start with. All of a sudden I started smelling hot electrical. I pulled over and checked all the obvious areas including the new amp which I feared was to hot not having AC. I found nothing. No blown fuses no sign of anything. I started off again and in maybe a minutes time it came back with a vengeance! I grabbed my fire extinguisher expecting a full on electrical fire, and again no visible cause. I disconnected the amp, pulled and disconnected the new stereo, even unplugged the new brake controller. I started her up and my entire dash had gone crazy! All gauges did not work but all warning lights did and they were all lit! My headlights were on yet the switch was off, no brake lights no blinkers outside yet they showed blinking on the dash. And to top it off no communication ! NO BUS! Other then that she started and got me the rest of the way to Idaho and that's where she sits! HELP!!! Where do I even start?

is it fixed? If so, what did you do to fix it?
