Default New lifters

Happy Friday hope all is doing well. I started my 4.7 for a 4.7 engine swap two days ago. I am in no hurry. I have the donor engine free and ready to pull and put on the stand. My list of replacement parts are as follows, new oil and water pump. valve cover gaskets, install my new to me HO cams. I had them polished up look brand new. New timing set minus gears ( if they look ok ) and lifters. My question is which lifters to go with? Everyone says that this is a weak link in the 4.7 so why would i use original Mopar lifters if its a problem? Do you have another brand that you guys recommend? Or do I stay with OEM? Found a brand new pair of headers in Georgia and even offered the guy and extra fifty dollars but he would not ship them to southern Bama. So still looking. Any other suggestions are completely welcomed. Remember I am 53 year old Dodge noob!!!

Thanks

I replaced mine last year when one lifter finally failed and ejected a rocker at 313K. Given the miles they lasted and If you can afford it, I'd say run the Mopars. I ended up using Sealed Power HT-2271 but I doubt they'll last as long. While you're in there, I'd surely replace the valve stem seals too. You don't want to do this again.

More info than you asked for but these were some of my threads....
