Default Is there a neutral safety switch on a 2007 dodge ram 1500

My post pretty much says it all on this one. I'm getting conflicting messages on this and how to do it. All I know is our truck won't show park or neutral on the display and won't start.

I think its called a 'range sensor', or some such, but, on automatic transmission, I do believe it is still in the same place, right below where the linkage hits the trans. (provided you even HAVE a linkage these days....) But yeah, your symptoms indicate it has failed. Have you tried starting in neutral?
